Doreen Noonan

Passed peacefully away at the Health Sciences Centre, St. John's on Monday, December 29, 2014, Doreen (Walsh) Noonan of Bay de Verde, aged 71 years. Predeceased by daughter, Sharon Preston; sister, Frances Edmunds; parents, Rose and Joseph Walsh; and brother, Michael Walsh. Leaving to mourn, husband, Tom; son, Eddie (Cheryl), Brownsdale; daughter, Dianne Sparkes (Joey), Bay de Verde; son-in-law, Cyril Preston; grandchildren: Jennifer Preston, Amy Doyle, Philip Sparkes, Julian Sparkes, Cassandra Noonan, Caitlin Noonan and Zachary Noonan; great grandchildren, Lyla Doyle and Olivia Doyle; brothers: Lawrence (Mary E.), Bernard (Anne), Neil (Molly), Cyril, Phil (Sherry); sisters, Sheila (Pete) Fowler and Gennie Mowat; her best buddy, Sean Doyle as well as a large circle of relatives and friends. Cremation has taken place. The family will receive relatives and friends at Hopkins' Funeral Home, Old Perlican on Friday, January 2, 2015 from 10:30am. to 12:00pm., 1:00pm. to 5:00pm. and 6:00pm. to 9:00pm. Funeral mass to take place on Saturday, January 3, 2015 at 10:30am. from the Parish of the Assumption Roman Catholic Church, Bay de Verde. Inurnment to follow in the Roman Catholic Cemetery, Bay de Verde. As an expression of sympathy flowers gratefully accepted or donations may be made in Doreen's memory to the Canadian Cancer Society.
