Passed peacefully away at the Carbonear General Hospital on August 3, 2013, Donald Clyde Brookings, formerly of Old Perlican, aged 77 years. Leaving to mourn loving friend and partner, Bernice Yetman of Upper Island Cove; seven sons; five step children; three brothers; one sister; grandchildren; and an extended circle of family and friends. Visitation to take place Sunday, August 4, 2013, 3:00pm. ~ 9:00pm. and Monday, August 5, 2013, 10:00am. ~ 9:00pm. Funeral service to take place on Tuesday, August 6, 2013 @ 2:00pm. from Hopkins' Funeral Home Chapel. Interment to follow in the United Church Cemetery, Old Perlican.
