Passed peacefully away, surrounded by her loving family, on Tuesday, February 19, 2013, at the Dr. A. A. Wilkinson Memorial Health Centre, Celia Squires, of Old Perlican, aged 88 years. Predeceased by her husband, Melvin and son, Oscar. Leaving to mourn: son, Harry (Donna); daughters, Beatrice (Cliff Button) and Audrey (Don Stanford); daughter-in-law, Judy Squires; grandchildren: Paul (Lorie), Sandi (Todd Courtney), Wendy (Mike Blundon), Trevor (Danielle), Curtis (Tanya), Craig (Shonna), and Shelley (Rodney Anthony); great grandchildren: Joshua, Karlie, Blake, Brandon, Erin, Allannah, Reid and Claire; sisters: Viola Gillingham and Enid Newell; friend and caregiver, Debbie Tucker, as well as an extended circle of family and friends. Resting at Hopkins' Funeral Home, Wednesday, February 20 and Thursday, February 21 from 10:00am. ~ 10:00pm. and Friday, February 22 from 10:00am ~ 12:00. Funeral to take place on Friday, February 22, 2013 @ 2:00pm. from St. Andrew's By The Sea United Church, Old Perlican. Interment to follow at the United Church Cemetery, Old Perlican.
