Wallace Barrett

Passed peacefully away at the Carbonear General Hospital on Monday, September 24, Wallace Nelson Barrett, aged 94 of Old Perlican. Predeceased by his parents, James and Jemima and his brothers, Harold and Clarence. Wallace leaves to mourn his wife, Flora; son, Robert (Ruth) and daughter, Myra (Roy); granchildren: David (Donna), Tina (Corey), Melissa (Adam), Bobby (Joanne) and Paul (Shelly); great grandchildren: Alyssa, Brayden, Cameron, Hannah, Noah, Shane and Chelsea; two brothers, Fred (Rhoda) and Ron (Ivy); as well as a large circle of relatives and friends. Wallace loved his family immensely and was dearly loved by them. He found great joy in many of the little things in life. Though removed from his family and friends his presence is deeply etched in the hearts of those who knew him best. Visitation to be held on Wednesday, September 26 from 10:00am. ~ 10:00pm. and on Thursday, September 27 from 10:00am. ~ 11:30am. The funeral will take place on Thursday, September 27 @ 2:00pm. from St. Andrew's By The Sea United Church, Old Perlican. Interment to follow in the United Church Cemetery. As an expression of sympathy donations may be made in Wallace's memory to the Memorial Fund of St. Andrew's By The Sea United Church, Old Perlican.
