Sheila Rice

Passed peacefully away, in the presence of her family, at the Dr. A. A. Wilkinson Memorial Health Centre on Thursday, February 16, Sheila Marie (Hickey) Rice, aged 70 years of Red Head Cove. Predeceased by her husband, Paul Rice; parents, Nicholas and Elizabeth Gushue; father and mother in law, John and Maud Rice; sister, Mary Connors (Tom) and sister-in-law, Frances Wicks. Left to mourn, sons: Boyd (Dionne), Darren (Joanne), Frankie (Pauline) and Mario (Melanie); grandchildren: Darrell, Deanne, Nicole, Austin, Addison and awaited grandchild (of Mario); step grandchildren, Travis and Tiffany Morrison; brothers, Billy Kennedy (Judy) and Fr. Pat Kennedy; sisters-in-law: Mary (Edmund), Rose (Tom, deceased), Ann, Joan (Sal, deceased), and Eve; brother-in-law, Frank; special nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews and an extended circle of family and friends, including relatives and friends in Conception Harbour. Visitation to take place Saturday, February 18, Sunday, February 19 and Monday, February 20 from 10:00am. ~ 10:00pm. Funeral service Tuesday, Febraury 21 @ 11:00am. from St. Anne's Roman Catholic Church, Red Head Cove. Interment to follow in the Roman Catholic Cemetery, Bay de Verde.
