Elsie Stansford

Passed peacefully away at the Harbour Lodge Nursing Home, Carbonear on Friday, January 13, 2012, Elsie Stansford aged 67 years. Predeceased by husband, Leslie (1978), father, Pierce Hindy (1964) mother, Lily Rockwood (2003) and step father, Stewart Rockwood (1992). Leaving to mourn sons, Terry (Patsy) and Trevor (Leanne) and daughter, Paulette Murphy (Fabian); grandchildren: Daniel Murphy (April), Ashley Murphy, Alison Murphy, Evan Stansford and Bradley Stansford; sisters: Velma Downey (Thomas deceased) (Gus Cotter), Doris Pryor (Earnest deceased), Glenys Tuck (Lawrence) and Geraldine Harris (Donald); brother, Robert Hindy (Debbie); step brothers: Cyril Hindy (Audrey) and Stanley Warren (Emma) and a large circle of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Visitation Sunday, January 15, from 10:00am ~ 10:00pm. and Monday, January 16, from 9:30am. ~ 11:30am. Funeral service to take place Monday, January 16 @ 1:00pm. from Hopkins' Funeral Home Chapel. Interment to follow at the United Church Cemetery, Grate's Cove. No flowers by request. As an expression of sympathy donations may be made in Elsie's memory to the Parkinson's Society.
