Lucy Barnes

Passed peacefully away in the presence of her family at the Dr. A. A. Wilkinson Memorial Health Centre on Friday, March 25, Lucy Doris Barnes of Sibley's Cove aged 73 years.
Predeceased by her husband Gordon; parents, David and Sarah Rodgers; brothers, Gordon and Norman; sister, Annie and brothers-in-law, Roy and Selby.
Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories three daughters: Carol (Bernard) Woodrow, Sibley's Cove, Christine Barnes (Herb), Winterton, Sharon (Vic) Piercey, Winterton;
two sons: Derrick (Rhonda), Sibley's Cove and Gary (Heather), Sibley's Cove; 13 grandchildren: Bernie (Claudia), Michelle (Rodney), Cory, Brian (Melissa), Adam, Ryan, Rodney, Rodger,
Ashley (Steven), Scotty, Gordon, Michael and Shealyn; 5 great grandchildren: Jayden, Brooklyn, Gracelyn, Mitchell and Stacey; four sisters: Alice Sparkes, Sibley's Cove,
Francis (Heber) Pryor, New Melbourne, Linda (Richard) North, Bay De Verde, Joan (Wilfred) Eddy, Sibley's Cove; sister-in-law, Mary Rodgers and a large circle of nieces, nephews and freinds.
The family will be receiving relatives and friends Saturday, March 26 and Sunday, March 27 from 10:00am until 10:00pm.
Funeral service to take place on Monday, March 28 @ 2:00pm. from Bethel United Church, Sibley's Cove. Interment to follow at The United Church Cemetery, Sibley's Cove.
As an expression of sympathy donations may be made in her memory to The Heart and Stroke Foundation.
