Philip Joseph Rice
Passed peacefully away at The Interfaith Citizen's Home in Carbonear,
on May 30, aged 66 years, formerly of Red Head Cove, after a battle
with Alzheimer Disease.
Predeceased by his parents, Andrew and Veronica; father-in-law, Abe John Green; brother, Dennis Rice; sisters: Anne Hatch, Genevieve Conners and Agnes Kehoe.
Leaving to mourn his wife, Marguerite (Green); mother-in-law, Irene Green; children: Cathy (Darrell) Hatch, Sonia (Clinton) Tucker;
grandchildren: Tyler, Savannah and Allyah Hatch and Brody and AJ Tucker. Many thanks to the staff of the Interfaith Citizen's Home
for the comfort and care given to Phil during his time there. Resting on Tuesday, June 1 and Wednesday June 2 from 10:00am ~ 10:00pm.
Funeral service to be held Thursday, June 3 @ 2:00pm. from The Church of the Assumption, Bay De Verde.
Internment to follow at the Bay De Verde Cemetery. Flowers gratfully accepted or donations may be made in his memory to the Alzheimer Society of Canada.
