Rita Wells

Passed peacefully away at the Wilkinson Memorial Health Centre, Old Perlican on Thursday, April 16, 2009, Rita E. Wells, aged 73 years. Leaving to mourn, husband, Walter C., Old Perlican; three sons: John (Daphne), Sibley’s Cove, Larry (Geraldine), Lewisporte and Ford, Old Perlican; four daughters: Bessie Wells, Old Perlican, Jean Wells, Fort McMurray, AB, Shirley Welsh (Wyllie Gidge), Gander and Florence (Ted) Ryan, Lewisporte; 20 grandchildren; 23 great-grandchildren; brother, Jim Brown, St. John’s; two sisters: Cavell (George) Tizzard and Melvina (Arch) Nichol both of Brampton, ON; also a large number of other relatives and friends. Rested at Hopkins Funeral Home, Old Perlican. Funeral Service took place on Sunday, April 19th at 2:00 p.m. from Hopkins Chapel, Old Perlican with Pastor James Lander officiating. Interment followed in the Pentecostal Cemetery, New Melbourne. Donatons in her memory may be made to the Pentecostal Cemetery Fund, New Melbourne.
