Jessie Fagner

Passed peacefully away at the Interfaith Citizen’s Home, Carbonear on Tuesday, March 3, 2009 Jessie Fagner of Caplin Cove, aged 94 years. Predeceased by husband, Gideon; only son, William “Billy”; parents: William and Lydia. Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories, three grandchildren: Vaden (Dana), Corenna (Robert) and Paula (Derek); seven great-grandchildren: Colleen, Amanda, Justin, Michael, Scott, Amber and Brianna; sister-in-law, Irene Bursey; step-sister-in-law, Beatrice French; also a large number of other relatives and friends. Rested at Hopkins Funeral Home, Old Perlican on Tuesday from 8 to 9 p.m. and Wednesday from 10 a.m. to 12 noon, 2 to 5 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m.; then rested at the United Church, Caplin Cove on Thursday from 10 a.m. to 12 noon. Funeral Service took place on Thursday, March 5, 2009 at 2 p.m. from the United Church and Cemetery, Caplin Cove with Rev. Peggy Johnson officiating.
