Mary Ann Murphy

MURPHY, Mary Ann (North) June 7, 1927 … February 27, 2009. Passed peacefully away in the presence of her loving family, Mary Ann Murphy (North) of Bay de Verde in her 82nd year. Predeceased by husband, Aiden (1995); parents: Mary and Andrew North; brothers: Joseph (Genevieve) and Andrew (Alice); sister-in-law, Alice North; brother-in-law, Brendan Murphy. Left with fond and loving memories are her children: special nephew, Ronald (Hazel) North, grandson Damian (Amanda), great-grandchildren, Halley and Hiliary, grandson Derek (Shelly); son, Gerard (Geraldine) Murphy, grandson Michael (Amanda), granddaughter Kelly-Ann (Luke); son, Fabian (Paulette) Murphy, grandson Danny (April), granddaughters Ashley and Alison; daughter, Mary Lynne Murphy, grandsons Shamus and Liam Walsh; daughter, Madonna (Donald) King, grandson Patrick, granddaughter Mary Kate; brother, Thomas North; also a number of nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, other relatives and friends. Reste at Hopkins Funeral Home, Old Perlican. Father Michael Barker conducted the Funeral Mass on Monday, March 2, 2009 at 10:00 a.m. from the Assumption Roman Catholic Church and Cemetery, Bay de Verde.
