Passed peacefully away at the Wilkinson Memorial Health Centre, Old Perlican on Saturday, February 21, 2008 Stanley Best of Brownsdale, aged 82 years. Predeceased by parents, George and Sarah Best and step-son, Terry Thomas. Leaving to mourn, wife, Shirley; three daughters: Wanda, Elizabeth and Yvonne; a number of grandchildren; brother, Ray (Pearl) Best; three sisters: Stella Best, Elizabeth (Lindy) Hulan and Ida (Eric) Coles; three step-daughters: Cynthia (Thomas) Penney, Charmaine (Theodore) Eddy and Elaine (Charles) Arsenault; step-daughter-in-law: Elva Thomas; step-grandchildren: Tammy, Lisa, Phillip, Juanita, Gillian, Robbie, Tracey, Matthew, Corina and Shane; also a large number of step-great-grandchildren, other relatives and friends. Rested at Hopkins Funeral Home, Old Perlican. Rev. Brian Hannon conducted the Funeral Service on Monday, February 23, 2009 at 2 p.m. from Brownsdale United Church and Cemetery.
