Clarence Eddy

Passed peacefully away at the Carbonear General Hospital on Friday, January 9, 2009 Clarence Eddy of Lead Cove, age 64 years. Predeceased by father, Wesley; brother, Lloyd; nephews: Ricky, Jeffery and Cyril. Leaving to mourn, wife, Catherine; three sons: Rodney, Bay de Verde, Scott (Sherry Noseworthy), Torbay, Martin (Karen Dale), Northern Bay; two grandchildren: Mitchell and Julia; mother, Alice Eddy, Sibley’s Cove; brother, Cyril, Sibley’s Cove; sister, Lorraine (Fred) Smith, Swift Current; sisters-in-law: Millie Sparkes, Sibley’s Cove, Elizabeth Murphy, Toronto, ON, Mary Ann (Maurice) Hatch, Bay de Verde and Leona North, Victoria; brothers-in-law: Richard (Linda) North, Bay de Verde and Edward (Josephine) North, St. John’s; also a large number of other relatives and friends. Rested at Hopkins Funeral Home, Old Perlican on Friday from 8:30 - 9:30 p.m and Saturday from 10:00 a.m. - 9:30 p.m.; then rested at Bethel United Church, Sibley's Cove on Sunday from 10:00 a.m. - 12 noon. Funeral Service took place on Sunday at 2:00 p.m. from Bethel United Church and Cemetery, Sibley’s Cove with Rev. Brian Hannon officiating.
