John Noonan

Passed peacefully away at the Carbonear General Hospital on Tuesday, December 30, 2008, John Noonan (of John) of Bay de Verde, age 90 years. Predeceased by parents: John and Ellen (McCann) Noonan; brothers: Benedict, Michael, Bernard and Alphonses; sisters: Mary Catherine Noonan and Bridget Royal; brothers-in-law: Maurice Royal and Ronald J. Doyle; sister-in-law: Peggy Noonan. Leaving to mourn: sister, Gertrude Doyle; brother, Dominic J. (Donna) Noonan; sister-in-law, Margaret Noonan; nieces and nephews: Tony, Patsy, Bridget, Larry, Loyola, Bridget, Barbara, Donnie, Ellie, Cathy, Bren, Bernie, Danny, Pat and Mary; also a large number of other relatives and friends. Rested at Hopkins Funeral Home, Old Perlican on Wednesday and Thursday from 2-5 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. Funeral Mass took place on Friday, January 2, 2009 at 11:00 a.m. from the Roman Catholic Church of the Assumption and Cemetery, Bay de Verde, with Father Michael Barker officiating.
