Sherry Hyde

It is with profound sadness that we announce the sudden passing of Sherry Hyde on April 13, 2025 aged 55 years.
A cherished resident of Old Perlican, Sherry's life was a testament to love, family, and friendship.

Sherry is predeceased by her beloved parents, Gordon and Alice Hyde; grandparents: Daniel and Clara Norris, and James and Martha Hyde. She is now reunited with them in eternal peace.

Left to mourn her loss and celebrate her memory are her treasured children, Quinton and Adrienne (Jeffrey); her precious grandchildren: Penelope, Joscelin, and Annabelle, who brought immeasurable joy to her life.
Sherry's loss is deeply felt by her devoted siblings: Edmund, Patsy (Randy), Marty (Don), Jeanie (Allan), Gail (Joey), Colleen (Mark), Danny (Sandra), and Clara (Keith); as well as a large circle of nieces, nephews, extended family and friends, all of whom held a special place in her heart. She will also be dearly missed by her cherished friends: Nellie Maidment, Darlene Hatch, Jean Howell, Patsy and Gary Doyle, Donna and Harry Squires, and Lori and Rick McNeil, all who were pillars of love and support in her life.

Visitation will take place at Hopkins' Funeral Home, Old Perlican on Sunday, April 20, 2025 2:00 pm. to 9:00 pm.
A funeral mass to celebrate Sherry's life and faith will be held at Assumption Parish Roman Catholic Church, Bay de Verde on April 21, 2025 at 11:00 am.
Cremation will follow.
Internment to take place on Tuesday, April 22, 2025 at 2:00 pm. in the Roman Catholic Cemetery, Bay de Verde.
Leaving Hopkins' Funeral Home, Old Perlican at 1:30 pm. Please feel free to join us for the procession to the cemetery.

Sherry's kind spirit and unwavering love will forever remain in the hearts of all who knew her. May she rest in peace, embraced by the Lord's everlasting grace.

Masks and hand santizer are mandatory for visitation at the funeral home due to sickness in the family.
