Passed peacefully away at St. Clare's Mercy Hospital, St. John's on
Thursday, March 13, 2025, Rosalina "Rose" Quinlan of Red
Head Cove, aged 92 years.
Predeceased by parents, John and Maude Rice; husband, Thomas Quinlan; son, Jeremiah Quinlan; grandson, Shawn Noonan, Jr.; son-in-law, Shawn Noonan; and other members of the Rice and Quinlan families.
Leaving to mourn with cherished memories, children: Bob (Jackie), Sharon, Johnny (Mae), Greg (Christine), Paul, Beverly, Tommy (Kathleen), and Maxine;
a large number of grandchildren, great grandchildren and great great grandchildren;
siblings: Frank, Mary, Joan, and Evelyn;
a large circle of nieces, nephews, extended family and circle of friends; her Winterholme Manor family (residents and staff);
and special friends: Effie Andrews, Sharon Rice Anderson, Hilda Snelgrove, Sharon Driscoll, and Diane Coates.
Cremation has taken place.
Visitation at Hopkins' Funeral Home, Old Perlican on Monday, March 17, 2025 2:00 pm. to 4:00 pm. and 7:00 pm. to 9:00 pm.
Funeral service to take place at 10:00 am. on Tuesday, March 18, 2025 from Hopkins' Funeral Home Chapel, Old Perlican.
Interment to follow in the Roman Catholic Cemetery, Bay de Verde.
As an expression of sympathy, in lieu of flowers, a donation may be made in Rose's memory to The Gathering Place, St. John's.
