Gerald Howell
1951-2024
It is with profound sadness that we share the sudden passing of our
beloved husband, father and grandfather, Gerald George Howell, who
left us on September 25, 2024 at the age of 73 years.
Gerald was a man of immense wisdom, cherishing every moment spent with his loved ones. He will be forever remembered for his love of hunting and taking advantage of every opportunity to do so with every change of the season. Fall was the season for moose and birds, winter for rabbits and ice fishing, spring was his time for trouting and summer, his most favourite, was the cod fishery. He treasured his time spent on the water but, most of all, he looked forward to what came next, cooking his catch and sharing with it with many of his friends in his shed. The shed door was always open. He filled our lives with so much happiness, love and laughter and have given us a lifetime of memories which we will cherish forever.
Predeceased by his loving parents, Byron and Eliza Howell; and granddaughter, Lydia.
Leaving to mourn his loving wife, Jean, of 50 years, with many fond and cherished memories; his three children: Cory (Joanne), Trevor (Holly), and Terrilynn (Chad); his six grandchildren of whom he was always so proud and loved his precious time spent with them: Emma, Noah, Abigail, Evan, Jacob, and Keyra; his very special and only sister, Beverly Fagner; a large extended family including sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law, nieces and nephews and other relatives; as well as a large circle of friends with whom he shared many good times, much laughter and cherished memories.
Cremation has taken place.
