Passed peacefully away at the Dr. A. A. Wilkinson Memorial Health
Centre, Old Perlican on Tuesday, September 17, 2024, surrounded by her
loving family, Mary Riggs of Bay de Verde, aged 75 years.
Predeceased by husband, Raymond Riggs; parents, Ernest and Lydia Branton; sisters, Velma and Myrtle; brother, Hedley; parents in law, Harrison and Nellie Riggs; brothers in law, Henry George Hiscock and Max Welsh.
Leaving to mourn, children: Keith (Christine), Cavell (Randy), Donnie (Tracy), Mark (Sasha) and Nicole (Tyler);
grandchildren: Jordan, Tyler, Jessica, Cody, Hannah, Georgia, Sydney, Kate and Lucy;
sisters, Jessie and Liz (Calvin); sister in law, Helen Branton; brothers in law: Don(June), Doug (Marilyn), Boyd (Cheryl), and Wilson Parrott;
as well as a large circle of nieces, nephews, cousins and extended family and friends;
and special friend, Colleen and TV BINGO buddies, Marina and Molly.
Thank you to her kind and loving home care worker, Tiffany Noonan and the staff of Dr. A. A. Wilkinson Memorial Health Centre, Old Perlican for your kindness, care and compassion to Mom and her family.
Cremation has taken place.
Visitation at Hopkins' Funeral Home, Old Perlican on Sunday, September 22, 2024 2:00 pm. to 5:00 pm. and 7:00 pm. to 9:00 pm. and Monday, September 23, 2024 10:00 am. to 11:30 am.
Funeral to take place at 2:00 pm. from St. Barnabas Anglican Church, Bay de Verde.
Interment to follow in the Anglican Cemetery, Bay de Verde.
As an expression of sympathy flowers are gratefully accepted or a donation may be made in Mary's memory to St. Barnabas Anglican Church, Bay de Verde.
