Jeannette Button

Passed away suddenly on May 19, 2024, Jeannette Button, aged 81 years.

Predeceased by her husband, Nelson; daughter, Deena; sister, Mary Doyle; parents, Nellie and Berkley Rodgers; and parents-in-law, Emily and Abraham (Queenie) Button.

Leaving to mourn with loving memories, daughter, Paula (Charles); son, Paul (Brenda); son-in-law Jack Shortt; sister-in-law Joyce Eddy;
grandchildren: Travis (Stacey), Andrew (Jillian), Zackery (Antonia), Kyle (Amber), and Amy;
great grandchildren: Brady, Bentley, Yeausmeanea, and Samuel;
as well as extended family and circle of friends.

A special thank you to life-long friend and hunting buddy, Greta Button; bingo buddy and friend, Jeanie Eddy; and always helpful neighbour, Ron Button. The family would also like to acknowledge extended family and friends for their support. In addition the family would like to highlight and express gratitude for the exceptional efforts, support and guidance of Stella and Wilfred Button during this difficult period.

Cremation has taken place.
Visitation at Hopkins' Funeral Home, Old Perlican on Friday, May 24, 2024 2:00 pm. to 4:00 pm. and 7:00 pm. to 9:00 pm.
Funeral service will take place at Hopkins' Funeral Home Chapel, Old Perlican on Saturday, May 25, 2024 at 11:00 am.
Interment to follow in the United Church Cemetery, Sibley's Cove.

As an expression of sympathy, in lieu of flowers, a donation may be made in Jeannette's memory to the Bethel United Church Cemetery Fund, Sibley's Cove.
