Ruby Rodgers

Ruby Irene Rodgers passed peacefully, but suddenly, away at her home in Sibley's Cove on May 4, 2024, aged 82 years.

Predeceased by her parents, Jessie and Pleamon Rodgers; brothers: Stanley, Charles and Nelson; sisters, Lillian (baby) and Phyllis; sisters-in-law, Ethel and Margaret; nephews, Art and Clyde; nephew-in-law, Carl Hopkins.

Leaving to mourn, sister-in-law,, Ettie Mae Rodgers; cousin-in-law, Gwen Rodgers; great nephew, Stephen Rodgers; great niece, Amanda. Also mourning her death are her many nieces and nephews, great nieces and great nephews; great, great nephew and nieces; dear friend, Rita Button, who went above and beyond, always bringing her baked treats and keeping her company with her phone calls.

The family would like to thank paramedics, Bren Power and Ashley Kehoe from the Old Perlican Ambulance service. Appreciation is also extended to Hopkins' Funeral Home for their compassion and professionalism during this difficult time. A very special thank you to niece Sharon Button and great nephew Stephen Rodgers for everything you have done to make her funeral something of which she would be proud.

Visitation at Bethel United Church, Sibley's Cove Wednesday, May 8, 2024 12:00 pm. to 9:00 pm. and Thursday, May 9, 2024 10:00 am. to 12:00 pm.

Funeral service to take place on Thursday, May 9, 2024 at 2:00 pm. from Bethel United Church, Sibley's Cove.
Interment to follow in the United Church Cemetery, Sibley's Cove.
