Cecilia Button

Cecilia Marie Button (nee Hurley) passed peacefully away on Monday, March 4, 2024, surrounded by her six children and their families at the Wilkinson Memorial Health Centre, Old Perlican, aged 93 years.

Predeceased by her loving husband, William Eldon Crocker of three years and husband, Aaron Button Sr., married 34 years;
parents, Maurice and Mary Hurley;
stepdaughter, Karen Button; son-in-law, Calvin Lambert;
brothers: Ron (Kathleen) Hurley, Harold (Joanna) Hurley, and John (Mame) Hurley;
sisters: Bridget (Harold) King, Lucy May (David) Connors, and Mary (Reuben) Buckle.

Leaving to mourn with treasured memories, sons: step-son, Gary (Barb) Button, Wayne (Juanita) Crocker, and Aaron (Patsy) Button;
daughters: Marie Lambert (Calvin and Rolland), Debbie (Carson) Tucker, and Juanita (Dexter) Garland;
grandchildren: Sheldon, Tracey, Martina (Jeremy), Renee (Catherine), Ryan (Kim), Nicole (Adam), Adrian (Megan), Kelsey (Roger), Michaela (Keegan), Chantae, and Carissa (Myles) and their families;
extended family and circle of friends.

The family would like to thank Dr. G. Nel, Dr. Kehoe and the staff of Wilknson Memorial Helath Centre, Old Perlican for over thirty years of exceptional care. A heartfelt thank you to Peggy Doyle and Judy McCarthy for help in planning her service, and to Father Julius and Rev. Yvonne for supporting the family through this difficult time.

Resting at Hopkins' Funeral Home, Old Perlican with visitation to take place on Wednesday, March 6, 2024 10:00 am. to 12:00 pm. and 2:00 pm. to 9:00 pm.
Funeral service to take place on Thursday, March 7, 2024 at 2:30 pm. from Hopkins' Funeral Home Chapel, Old Perlican.
Interment to follow in the United Church Cemetery, Old Perlican.
