Charlie was a man who loved nature. His passion for the sea ensured his success as a fisherman, which he loved. He loved camping, ski-doing, off-roading, and many other outdoor activities. His love of animals was also well known. He captivated children (and those who were children at heart) from near and far as they came to visit, watch and feed his ducks, chickens and sheep. He even drove in Christmas parades with his German Shepherds sporting beautiful red bows. Charlie loved to travel. He also loved music and singing. He was known to visit Coffee Houses near and far, from Bay Robert's to Whitbourne and all places in between to enjoy and support the entertainment. Being so friendly he made many friends along his travels and he will be missed by so many.
The family would like to thank the staff of Wilkinson Memorial Health Centre, Old Perlican,
especially Dr. Nel for his continuous care over the years
as well as the staff of St. Clare's Mercy Hospital, St. John's.
