Thomas Noonan

Passed peacefully away at the Carbonear General Hospital, Carbonear on Saturday, October 28, 2023 Thomas Joseph Noonan of Bay de Verde, aged 85 years.

Predeceased by his loving wife, Doreen; daughter, Sharon Preston; parents, Patrick and Julia Noonan; sisters, Mary Broderick and Carmel Walsh; brothers: Felix, Edmund and Patrick Noonan.

Leaving to mourn, daughter, Diane Sparkes (Norman Hatch); son, Eddie (Cheryl) Noonan; son-in-law, Cyril Preston;
grandchildren: Jennifer, Amy, Philip, Julian, Cassandra, Caitlin and Zachary; great grandchildren: Lyla, Olivia, Daniel, Wayne and Sawyer;
siblings: John (Dot) Noonan, Sheila Howell, Patricia (Gerald) Riggs, Lorraine (Wayne) Quinlan and Brian (Yvonne) Noonan;
a large number of nieces and nephews as well as extended family and circle of friends.

Cremation has taken place.
Visitation at Hopkins' Funeral Home, Old Perlican on Sunday, November 5, 2023 2:00 pm. to 9:00 pm.
Funeral service to take place on Monday, November 6, 2023 at 1:00 pm. from Assumption Parish Roman Catholic Church, Bay de Verde.
Interment to follow in the Roman Catholic Cemetery, Bay de Verde.
A reception will be held after the interment at the Roman Catholic Parish Hall, Bay de verde.

The family would like to express their thanks to the staff of the 5th., 6th. and 7th. floors, occupational therapy, social worker Joan and the doctors of the Carbonear General Hospital, Carbonear for their kindness and compassion shown to Thomas during his stay.
