M. Janet Provan

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the sudden passing of our loved one, Mary Janet Provan of Old Perlican at her residence on August 19, 2023, aged 76 years.

Predeceased by parents, Urias and Annie Blundon; parents in law, James and Netta Provan; sisters, Margaret Hopkins and Ina (Richard) Snelgrove; and brother, William (Judy) Blundon.

Leaving to mourn her loving husband of 50 years, Ian Provan; sister in law, Elizabeth (Jim) Campbell; brother in law, Bill Hopkins;
nephews: Carl (Colleen) Hopkins, David (Tammy) Hopkins, David (Kurt) Blundon, and Keith (Patricia) Snelgrove;
nieces: Lisa (Scott) Coish, Cindy (Darryl) Fillier, and Brett (Mark) Kluge;
great nephews: Todd Hopkins, Brandon Coish, James Kluge, Riley Snelgrove, and Cody Snelgrove;
great nieces: Kassidy Coish, Mckayla Hopkins, Madison Hopkins, Brianna Fillier, and Emily Snelgrove;
special family friends, Ford (Brenda) Brenton and Hilda Snelgrove; and extended family and circle of friends.

Visitation at Hopkins' Funeral Home, Old Perlican on Saturday, August 26, 2023 2:00 pm. to 4:00 pm. and 7:00 pm. to 9:00 pm.
Funeral service to take place on Sunday, August 27, 2023 at 2:00 pm. from Hopkins' Funeral Home Chapel, Old Perlican.
Interment to follow in the Anglican Cemetery, Bay de Verde.
