Margaret Barrett

Passed peacefully away at the G. B. Cross Memorial Hospital, Clarenville on Sunday, January 1, 2023, Margaret Millie Barrett of Old Perlican, aged 94 years.

Predeceased by parents, Fred and Pheobe Abbott; sisters, Maisie and Myra; daughter in law, Cathy; and beloved husband, Robert.

Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories, sons, Boyd (Cheryl) and Bryce; grandchildren: Margaret Ann (Jeff), Robert, Cherie (Glen) and Geoffrey (Amanda);
great grandchildren: Jessica, Daniel, Myles and Eva; brothers, Anderson (Shirley) Abbott and Warren (Marion) Abbott;
and a large circle of extended family and friends.

A special thank you is extended to the staff of the G. B. Cross Memorial Hospital, Clarenville for their care and compassion for our mother.

Visitation at Hopkins' Funeral Home, Old Perlican on Wednesday, January 4, 2023, 2:00 pm. to 4:00 pm. and 7:00 pm. to 9:00 pm.

Funeral service to take place at 2:00 pm. on Thursday, January 5, 2023 from St. Andrew's By The Sea United Church, Old Perlican.
Interment to follow in the United Church Cemetery, Old Perlican.

As an expression of sympathy, in lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Margaret's memory to St. Andrew's By The Sea United Church, Old Perlican.
