Josiah Squibb Memorial Pavilion, Carbonbear, surrounded by her loving
family, Greta Harris of Brownsdale, aged 89 years.
Predeceased by her husband, Otto; grandson, Brandon Harris; infant great granddaughter, Winnie Bird; parents, Walter and Florence Thomas; sisters: Florence Matthews, Emily Jane Bird and Loretta Mercer; special nephew, Denis bird; and special nieces, Wanda Mansfield and Louise Eddy.
Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories are her daughters, Emily Bird (Sam) and Carol Ash (Eldred); sons: Randy (Doreen), Ted (Zelda), Kevin (Karen), Darrin (Colleen) and Shawn (Susanne); sister, Ruby Johnson; grand children: Lisa (Rodney) Green, Curtis (Jennifer) Ash, Jonathon (Alyson) Bird, Matthew (Mary) Bird, Todd (Jennifer) Harris, Trevor (Lara) Harris, Ashley (Dennis) D'Amico, Travis (Keisha) Harris, Blair (Dawn) Harris and Benjamin Harris; great grandchildren: Jacey and Neely Bird, Milo and Marcellus Bird, Riley and Adrian Green, Brooke and Ellie Harris, Sam and Olivia D'Amico and Amelia Harris; plus an extended circle of sister and brothers in law; nieces, nephews and long time friends.
Resting at Hopkins' Funeral Home, Old Perlican with visitation on Saturday, December 17, 2022 from 2:00 pm. to 4:00 pm. and Sunday, December 18, 2022 from 2:00 pm. to 4:00 pm.
Funeral service to take place on Monday, December 19, 2022 at 2:00 pm. from Brownsdale United Church, Brownsdale.
Interment to follow in the United Church Cemetery, Brownsdale.
The family respectfully request that masks be worn by those visiting the funeral home or attending the funeral.
Flowers are graciously accepted or in lieu of flowers, as an expression of sympathy, a donation may be made in Mom's memory to Brownsdale United Church Memorial Fund, Brownsdale.
