Sterling Hopkins

It is with profound sadness and heavy hearts that the family of Sterling Norman Hopkins announce his passing at the Wilkinson Memorial Health Centre, Old Perlican on Sunday, November 21, 2021, aged 87 years. Predeceased by his parents, Eli and Sarah Jane Hopkins; daughter Carol Eddy; and grandson Corey Eddy.
Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories wife, Lizzie of 66 years; children: Gary (Louise), Lloyd (Elizabeth), Karen (Joey) Delaney and Roy (Melissa);
son in law, Steve Eddy; grandchildren: Bradley, Jason, Jamie, Rodney, Phillip, Michael, Rebecca, Jenna and Kristen;
ten great grandchildren; sister, Ruby (Melvin) Riggs; and a large circle of extended family and friends.
Resting at Brownsdale United Church, Brownsdale with visitation on Monday, November 22, 2021 2:00 pm. to 4:00 pm. and 7:00 pm. to 9:00 pm.
and on Tuesday, November 23, 2021 2:00 pm. to 4:00 pm. and 7:00 pm. to 9:00 pm. in accordance with COVID 19 restrictions and protocols with NL VaxPass required for entrance.
Funeral service on Wednesday, November 24, 2021 at 2:00 pm. at Brownsdale United Church, Brownsdale in accordance with COVID 19 restrictions and protocols with NL VaxPass required for attendance.
Interment to follow in the United Church Cemetery, Brownsdale.
