John Robbins

Passed peacefully away at the Wilkinson Memorial Health Centre, Old Perlican on August 5, 2021, John George Robbins of Caplin Cove, aged 86 years.
Predeceased by parents, Jabez and Elsie (Gillingham) Robbins of Lower Island Cove.
Leaving to mourn his wife of 62 years, Ada Beryl;
children: Debbie (Dean), Glenn (Sherri), Roxanne (Desmond), Daniel (Iris) and Jaqueline (Don);
grandchildren: Kimberley, Johni Lynn, Johnny (Angie), Courtney (Andre), Amy, Andrew, Hayley (Corey), Daniel (Katelyn), Cody (Montana), Hilary and Donnie;
great grandchildren: Owen, Olivier, Sophie, Lucie, Willow, Ellie and soon to be Thomas Daniel (due August 2021);
sisters in law, Sarah Oliver and Dorothy Wicks; along with a large circle of nieces, nephews and extended family and friends.
The family would like to thank the staff of Baccalieu Kingsway Living, Old Perlican for their care for their dad over the past year.
Special thanks to Dr. Howse and the nursing staff of the 7th floor of Carbonear General Hospital, Carbonear and the staff of Willkinson Memorial Health Centre, Old Perlican for their years of care.
Visitation will be held at Hopkins' Funeral Home, Old Perlican on Saturday, August 7, 2021 2:00 pm. to 4:00 pm. and on Sunday, August 8, 2021 7:00 pm. to 9:00 pm. in accordance with COVID 19 protocols and restrictions.
Funeral service to take place on Monday, August 9, 2021 at 2:00 pm. from Hopkins' Funeral Home Chapel, Old Perlican in accordance with COVID 19 protocols and restrictions. Interment to follow in the United Church Cemetery, Caplin Cove.
As an expression of sympathy flowers gratefully accepted or a donation may be made to a charity of one's choice in John's memory.
