Doris Snelgrove

Passed peacefully away at the Wilkinson Memorial Health Centre, Old Perlican on Friday, July 3, 2020, Doris Vera Snelgrove, aged 89 years.
Predeceased by husband, Wilfred; parents, Edwin and Violet Turner; sister, Lillian Turner.
Leaving to mourn, two sons, Roy (Lorraine), Caplin Cove and Wayne (Edith), Windsor, Nova Scotia;
four grandchildren: Trina (Tony), Scott, Lindsey and Jeffery; five great grandchildren; brother, Edwin Turner (formerly of Lower Island Cove);
a very special friend, Mary Power, who spent many, many evenings visiting mom (We can't thank you enough!);
as well as a large number of other relatives and friends.
A special thank you to the staff and residents of Kingsway (Baccalieu) Retirement Living, Old Perlican, where mom resided for the past number of years.
We would also like to thank the staff at the Wilkinson Memorial Health Centre, Old Perlican for all the care and compassion given to mom during her final days.
Visitation at Hopkins' Funeral Home, Old Perlican on Saturday, July 4, 2020 2:00 pm. to 4:00 pm. and 7:00 pm. to 9:00 pm. As per Covid 19 Pandemic, restrictions will be in place.
Funeral service will take place in the United Church Cemetery, Caplin Cove on Sunday, July 5, 2020.
Funeral procession will leave Hopkins' Funeral Home Old Perlican at 4:30 pm. to arrive at the cemetery where the service will begin.
As an expression of sympathy any donation offered in mom's memory may be made to a charity of one's choice.
