Shawn Noonan

Passed away at his home on Friday, May 8, 2020, Shawn Thomas Noonan Sr. of Bay de Verde, aged 76 years.
Predeceased by his son, Shawn Jr.; parents, Doug and Marie Noonan; sister, Kathleen Brake; brothers-in-law: Harry Brake, Paddy Broaders and Cyril Riggs.
Left to mourn with fond and loving memories, his loving wife of 45 years, Sharon; sons, Randy Walsh (April) and Tristan (Jana); daughter, Natasha (Donnie);
grandchildren: Angela, Omri (Mackenzie), Cobi (Destini), Mason, Kinsley, Cash and Katie;
brothers: Randy, Glen (Esther), Terry (Patricia), Edwin (Anne), Wayne (Patsy) and Jimmy;
sisters: Nora (Roy), Madonna (Bob), Dot, and Noreen (Paul);
mother-in-law, Rose Quinlan; as well as a large circle of nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
"A strong man with a love for his family beyond measure and a faith to move mountains. May the country music be loud and the reunion with your son, beautiful!"
Due to Covid 19 restrictions there will be no wake or public visitation.
A graveside burial service will take place on Tuesday, May 12, 2020 at 1:00 pm. in the Roman Catholic Cemetery, Bay de Verde.
Although we cannot come together at this time the family would like to encourage extended family and friends
to accompany the funeral procession from Hopkins' Funeral Home, Old Perlican to the cemetery.
As we move to Alert Level 4 of Covid 19 Public Health Orders we would like to remind you that a maximum of ten people (including officiant) are permitted to gather in the cemetery while observing physical distancing. Please respect these restrictions and allow immediate family the opportunity to gather.
As an expression of sympathy, in lieu of flowers, a donation may be made in Shawn's memory to the Heart and Stroke Foundation.
