Anne Noonan
1921-2020
On March 14, 2020, Anne Marie Noonan (Delaney) passed peacefully away
surrounded by the presence and love of her family.
Our individual sorrow is eased by the profound gratitude that we all feel for having been blessed with such a wonderful woman in our lives for so long. Happy memories of wise advice, love of family, faith and friends that remain, truly is her legacy.
Anne was the eldest of three children, born May 3, 1921 to Bernard and Lillian Delaney (McCann) in Gull Island, Conception Bay.
She is predeceased by her parents; her two brothers, Edward and Timothy; her eldest son, Bernard (August 2002); and her husband of 57 years, Vincent (November 2003).
Left to mourn her loss are her children: Wayne (Patricia), Jacqueline Walsh, Elizabeth Anne (Robert Dalton), and Patricia (Gary Roberts);
nine grandchildren; twenty one great grandchildren; as well as many nieces, nephews, their families and many friends.
Our mother was a devoted Catholic who found peace and strength through the power of prayer.
Our family would like to recognize the staff of Karwood Retirement Retreat for their care and compassion. We would also like to recognize Moya Kavanagh, Claudine Horan, Doreen Stack, Rexford and Bernadette Roberts, as well as Elaine and Wayne Walters who she considered her extended family.
Visitation at Barrett's Funeral Home, St. John's on Monday March 16, 2020 2:00 pm. to 4:00 pm. and 7:00 pm. to 9:00 pm.
