Alice Hyde

Passed peacefully away in the presence of her loving family,
Alice Hyde of Red Head Cove, aged 83 years.
Mom was the pillar of our family.
She loved to have her children and grandchildren around her. She dearly enjoyed her annual sleepovers with her seven girlies and our get togethers with all of her children. It was always special times that she treasured and memories we will always cherish.
Mom is predeceased by husband, Gordon; parents, Daniel and Clara Belle Norris;
sister, Mary (John) McMahon; brothers, Edmund Norris and Daniel (Carmel) & Coreen Norris;
and deceased members of the Hyde family.
Leaving to mourn, her two sons, Edmund (Marilyn) and Danny (Sandy);
7 daughters: Patsy (Randy) Squires, Marty (Don) Kelly, Jeanie (Allan) Eddy, Gail (Joey) Oliver, Colleen (Mark) McCarthy, Sherry and Clara (Keith) Hyde;
17 grandchildren; 21 great grandchildren; and extended family members of the Norris and Hyde families.
Resting at Hopkins' Funeral Home, Old Perlican with visitation on Friday, March 6, 2020 7:00 pm. to 9:00 pm., Saturday, March 7, 2020 10:00 am. to 9:00 pm. and Sunday, March 8, 2020 10:00 am. to 9:00 pm.
A funeral service to celebrate Mom's life will take place on Monday, March 9, 2020 at 11:00 am. from the Church of the Assumption, Bay de Verde.
Interment to follow in the Roman Catholic Parish Cemetery, Bay de Verde.
