Passed peacefully away at the Private Josiah Squibb Memorial Pavilion, Carbonear on Saturday, February 8, 2020,
Flora Barrett of Old Perlican, aged 94 years.
Predeceased by her husband, Wallace; daughter, Myra Tremblett; and brother Angus Tizzard.
Flora leaves to mourn her son, Robert (Ruth); grandchildren: David (Donna), Tina (Corey), Melissa (Adam), Bobby (Joanne), and Paul (Shelley);
great grandchildren: Alyssa, Brayden, Noah, Shane, Chelsea, Hannah, Cameron, Arianna and Kaylee;
sister, Rhoda; son-in-law, Roy; nieces and nephews; as well as an extended circle of family and friends.
Flora loved her family immensely and was dearly loved by them. She found great joy in many of the little things in life, including cooking, tending to her flowers, and just chatting with family and friends. Though removed from her family and friends, her presence is deeply etched in the hearts of those who knew her best.
Resting at Hopkins' Funeral Home, Old Perlican with visitation on Monday, February 10, 2020 10:00 am. to 9:00 pm.
Funeral service on Tuesday, February 11, 2020 at 2:00 pm. from Hopkins' Funeral Home Chapel, Old Perlican.
Interment to follow in the United Church Cemetery, Old Perlican.
