Barbara Cull
1934-2020
Passed peacefully away at the Agnes Pratt Home, St. John's on February
5, 2020, surrounded by family and friends, Barbara Cull of Caplin
Cove, aged 85 years.
Predeceased by first husband, Rendell Garland; second husband, Frank Cull; parents, Daisy and George Bursey;
sisters: Beatrice Wall, Daphne Hodder and Lillian O'Hanly; brother, George Bursey; son-in-law, Byron Bursey; and great granddaughter, Yazmin Bursey.
Barbara loved her family dearly and would always have a batch of nan's cookies ready to enjoy. She loved playing a good game of cards or Bingo. When she was able, one was guaranteed to find her walking or in the the gardens berry picking. She loved to craft and knit and often would donate her creations to the hospital. She will be greatly missed by those who knew her.
Left to mourn her passing, son, Bruce (Theresa) Bursey; daughters, Linda Bursey and Florence (Barry) Rodgers; 10 grandchildren; 13 great grandchildren; sisters: Phyllis O'Leary, Eileen Connors, and Bertha Campbell; brothers, Allan Bursey and Berkley Bursey and their families; many nieces and nephews; as well as an extended circle of family and friends.
Visitation at Hopkins' Funeral Home, Old Perlican on Saturday, February 8, 2020 2:00 pm. to 5:00 pm. and 7:00 pm. to 9:00 pm.
Funeral service to celebrate Barbara's life will take place at 2:00 pm. on Sunday, February 9, 2020 from Hopkins' Funeral Chapel, Old Perlican.
Interment to follow in the Anglican Cemetery, Caplin Cove.
In lieu of flowers, as an expression of sympathy, donations may be made in Barbara's memory to a charity of one's choice.
