Rosemary Noonan

1954-2019

Rosemary Noonan
In the early evening of Tuesday, September 24, 2019, our beautiful and special Rosie (Rosemary Patricia), ever so gracefully left the love surrounding her and passed to the next realm with those waiting to hold her close again, especially her mother, Maggie.
Rosie was an amazing, full of life and fun loving spirit who was always up for a "bit of fun" and loved to laugh. She was never without a quick response to the light hearted teasing from her family and close friends, especially her brothers. Rosie was her mother's life companion and friend. Before the onset of Alzheimer's which gradually robbed her of the range of capacities she had, Rosie enjoyed a full, loved filled life. She loved to bake (but, more so, eat!) muffins, see friends and family, write out recipes using her ambidextrous skill, do puzzle books, read and to our awe, could remember any phone number or address, even from decades ago. Rosie took great pride in helping Mom "keep house".
She will always be in the hearts of her loved ones. Remembered forever by her sisters: Evelyn (Ray, deceased), Linda (Monty), Debbie (Rankin) and fifth sister, Suzanne (Earle); brothers: Aidan (Gloria), Gerard (Selma, deceased) and Carl; her two very special brothers-in-law, Gerard Walsh and Monty Tucker who were always on deck, right to the last breath and special sister-in-law, Gloria Fowler Noonan, who was a constant loving support. Rosie was watched over at home by the most wonderful caretaker who also became a friend and is now like family, Betty Broaders. Rosie had special bonds with her nieces and nephews, who showered her with laughter filled moments and kindness which has been passed on to the great nieces and nephews who also enjoyed spending time with Aunt Rosie.
Rosie was predeceased by her father, Leo; mother, Maggie; sister, Eileen; sister-in-law, Selma; brother-in-law, Ray; and great nephew, baby Ryan Collins.
Cremation has taken place. Visitation to take place at Hopkins' Funeral Home, Old Perlican on Friday, September 27, 10:00 am. to 9:00 pm. with vigil starting at 7:30 pm.
Funeral mass to be held at the Church of the Assumption Roman Catholic Church, Bay de Verde on Saturday, September 28, 2019 at 10:30 am. Interment to follow in the Roman Catholic Cemetery, Bay de Verde.
In Rosie's memory, a donation may be made to a charity of one's choice or take the time to visit someone who may not have family or friends available. Flowers are gratefully accepted.
"We know for certain that we never lose the people we love, even to death. They continue to participate in every act, thought and decision we make. Their love leaves an indelible imprint on our memories. We find comfort in knowing that our lives have been enriched by having shared their love."
Forever in our Hearts!
We love you "Rosie Posie"
