1984-2018

Passed suddenly away in Peace River, Alberta, on Saturday, November
10, 2018, Captain Martin James Cooper of Old Perlican, aged 34 years.
Predeceased by his grandparents, Corbin and Ruth Cooper and William
James and Ruth Hopkins. Leaving to mourn his wife, Laurie Burrows
Cooper; daughters, Tyla and Maisie; his faithful fur-friend, Avalon;
parents, Cindy and Warren Cooper; brother Matthew (Nadine); aunts:
Chris (Gary) Reid, Colleen (Ray) Branton, and Sheila (Brad)
Archambault; cousins: Neil (Jennie) Archambault, Crystal (Austin)
Daley, Ian (Vicki) Archambault, Jimmy Reid, Steven (Janine)
Archambault and Andrew Reid; fellow first responders and extended
family and friends all across Canada. Marty will be remembered for his
dedication to his family and friends and his passion for helping those
in need. Visitation will be held at Hopkins' Funeral Home, Old
Perlican, on Saturday, November 17, 2018 2:00 pm. to 5:00 pm. and 7:00
pm. to 9:00 pm. and on Sunday, November 18, 2018 2:00 pm. to 5:00 pm.
and 7:00 pm. to 9:00 pm. Funeral service will take place on Monday,
November 19, 2018 at 2:00 pm. from St. Andrew's By The Sea United
Church, Old Perlican. Interment to follow in the United Church
Cemetery, Old Perlican. As an expression of sympathy, flowers
gratefully accepted or donations will be accepted to benefit his
precious girls, Tyla and Maisie, made in care to Warren and/or Cindy
Cooper, P. O. Box 21, Old Perlican, NL. A0A 3G0. A trust is being
established.
