Passed peacefully away at Carbonear General Hospital, Carbonear on
Thursday, December 21, 2017, Olga Gertrude Blundon of Bay de Verde,
aged 94 years. Predeceased by husband Frank; sons: Earl, Glenn, Daniel
and Donald; parents, Moses and Janet Blundon; sisters: Annie Blundon,
Violet Riggs and Hazel Stockwood; brother, Jack Blundon.
Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories are her children: Carson (Annette) Blundon, Ray (Alma) Blundon, Frank Blundon, Evelyn (Rick) Riggs, Annie (Les) Bursey; daughters in law, Shirley Blundon and Nancy Blundon; 14 grandchildren; 24 great grandchildren; one great great grandchild; as well as a large circle of extended family and friends.
Visitation at Hopkins' Funeral Home, Old Perlican on Friday, December 22, 2017 from 11:00 am. to 9:00 pm. and on Saturday, December 23, 2017 from 10:00 am. to 12:00 pm. Funeral service to take place on Saturday, December 23, 2017 at 2:00 pm. from St. Barnabas Anglican Church, Bay de Verde. Interment to follow in the Anglican Cemetery, Bay de Verde. As an expression of sympathy, in lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Carbonear General Hospital Palliative Care Unit, Carbonear or St. Barnabas Anglican Church, Bay de Verde.
