Alfred "Alf" Jacobs

Passed peacefully away at the Carbonear General Hospital, Carbonear on Wednesday, October 18, 2017, Alfred "Alf" Jacobs, formerly of Bay de Verde, aged 88 years. Predeceased by his loving wife, Shirley. Leaving to mourn with loving memories are his nephews, nieces, cousins and friends. The family would like to thank the doctors, nurses and staff of the Wilkinson Memorial Health Centre and the Carbonear General Hospital for his care. A sincere thank you, as well, to the staff of the Baccalieu Retirement Living Home for the care he received while living there for the past year. Visitation at Hopkins' Funeral Home, Old Perlican on Thursday, October 19, 2017 3:00 pm. to 9:00 pm. Funeral service to take place on Friday, October 20, 2017 at 11:00 am. from St. Barnabas Anglican Church, Bay de Verde. Interment to follow in the Anglican Cemetery, Bay de Verde.
