Josie Hopkins

Passed peacefully away on June 25, 2017, surrounded by her family, Effie Mary Josephine, Josie to all who knew and loved her, of Old Perlican, aged 87 years. Predeceased by her husband, Wilfred. Leaving to mourn, sons: Gordon (Joyce), Jim (Eileen), and Roy (Nora); grandchildren: Duane (Rosemary), Michelle (Tony), Dean (Penny), Danita (Chris), Curtis (Lorie), Tracy, Darrell (Kerri) and Dianne (Mark); thirteen great grandchildren; as well as an extended circle of friends and family including a number of nieces and nephews by whom she will be fondly remembered. Resting at Hopkins' Funeral Home, Old Perlican where visitation will take place on Monday, June 26, 2017, 7:00 pm. to 9:00 pm., Tuesday, June 27, 2017, 10:00 am. to 9:00 pm. and Wednesday, June 28, 2017, 10:00 am. to 11:45 am. Funeral service to take place on Wednesday, June 28, 2017 at 2:00 pm. from Hopkins' Funeral Home Chapel, Old Perlican. Interment to follow in the United Church Cemetery, Old Perlican. As an expression of sympathy, flowers gratefully accepted or donations may be made in Josie's memory to a charity of one's choice.
