Shirley Jacobs

Passed peacefully away at the Carbonear General Hospital on Thursday, November 3, 2016, Shirley Beatrice (March) Jacobs of Bay de Verde, aged 79 years. Predeceased by parents, Frank and Lillian March and brother, Clyde. Left with fond and loving memories, husband, Alf; brother, Howard; sister, Beth (Frank) Bacic; a number of nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews; special family members: Quinn (Mary Lynn) North and family; Chad (Andrea) North and family; Brett (Cavell) North; Danny (Bev) March and family; Shirley (Ernie) Spurrell and family; Eric (Maudie) Emberley and family and Alfred Emberley; as well as an extended circle of other family members and friends. Visitation at Hopkins' Funeral Home, Old Perlican, Saturday, November 5, 2016 2:00 pm. to 9:00 pm. and Sunday, November 6, 2016 2:00 pm. to 9:00 pm. Funeral service to be held on Monday, November 7, 2016 at 11:00 am. from St. Barnabas Anglican Church, Bay de Verde. Interment to follow in the Anglican Cemetery, Bay de Verde. As an expression of sympathy, flowers gratefully accepted or donations may be made in Shirley's memory to the Canadian Breast Cancer Society.
