Passed peacefully away at the Interfaith Citizen's Home, Carbonear, on Wednesday, March 16, 2016, Bessie (Sooley) Reynolds, formerly of Caplin Cove, aged 96 years. Predeceased by husband, Frank (1974); parents, Jessie (Martin) and Jasper Sooley; brothers, Eric (Sadie), Toronto and Stephen, Caplin Cove; sister, Effie (Charl) Reid, Lower Island Cove. Leaving to mourn, son, Clyde (Bernice), Harbour Grace; grandchildren: Paula and Denise, Paradise, and David, St. John's; nephews: Bob Reid, Lower Island Cove, David Sooley (Margo Campbell), Toronto and Cyril (Audrey) Reynolds, Lewisporte; niece, Linda (Walter) Birch, Toronto; special friend, Esther Reynolds, Caplin Cove; as well as an extended circle of family and friends. Visitation at Hopkins' Funeral Home, Old Perlican on Friday, March 18, 2016, 2:00 pm. to 9:00 pm. Funeral service to take place on Saturday, March 19, 2016, at 2:00 pm. from Hopkins' Funeral Home Chapel, Old Perlican. Interment to follow in The United Church Cemetery, Caplin Cove.
