Alma Barrett

Passed peacefully away on Monday, March 7, 2016, at the Wilkinson Memorial Health Centre, Alma (Button) Barrett, of Old Perlican, aged 93 years. Predeceased by husband, Arthur George; sister, Ruth; brothers: Cecil, Clyde and Byron. She is survived by son, George and his wife Juanita; granddaughters, Lisa (Ian) and Mandie (Lee); sister, Jessie (Dave); sister-in-law, Marjorie; a number of nieces and nephews as well as an extended circle of family and friends. The family would like to send their sincere thanks to the staff of Perlican Terrace and the Health Centre in Old Perlican who provided loving care and support to Alma over the past year and especially over the past few months. Their support allowed her to stay in her hometown amongst family and friends until she passed away. Their kindness and generosity were greatly appreciated. Cremation has already taken place. Visitation Thursday, March 10, 2016, 2:00pm. to 8:00pm. at Hopkins' Funeral Home, Old Perlican. Funeral service to take place on Friday, March 11, 2016 at 11:00am. at St. Andrew's By The Sea United Church, Old Perlican. Inurnment to follow in the United Church Cemetery, Old Perlican.
