John Squires

Passed peacefully away at the Wilkinson Memorial Health Centre, Old Perlican, John Squires of Sibley's Cove, aged 95 years. Predeceased by his wife, Alice; parents, George and Marian Squires; brothers, Simeon and Eli; sisters: Marjorie, Myrtle and Eva. Leaving to mourn, daughters: Ida (Seymour) of Toronto, Daphne (Clyde) of Burnt Islands and Jackie (Carson) of Old Perlican; granddaughters, Darlene and Glenda, both of Toronto; grandsons; Christopher and Charles, both of Burnt Islands and Jonathan of Old Perlican; great grandchildren: Sarah and Quade of Toronto, Ethan and Evan of Isle Aux Mort and Lorne of Old Perlican; brother, George (Ruth) of Sibley's Cove; sister-in-law, Violet of Old Perlican. John will also be missed by his many nieces and nephews and his many dear friends. Visitation, Monday, December 7, 2015, 10:00am. to 9:00pm. and Tuesday, December 8, 2015, 10:00am. to 9:00pm. Funeral service to take place on Wednesday, December 9, 2015 at 2:00pm. from Bethel United Church, Sibley's Cove. Interment to follow in the United Church Cemetery, Sibley's Cove. As an expression of sympathy donations may be made in John's memory to Bethel United Church, Sibley's Cove.
